UX Design Portfolio

Vreal

Vreal is a startup company that developed the immersive content platform, Vreal. My official role on this team was product manager, but I also created wireframes and prototypes. Vreal started as a VR streaming platform and eventually expanded outside of VR. Below are some samples of the UX work I did there.

Website Design

Our website bounce rates were high and we kept getting the feedback that people still didn’t understand what our product was after visiting it, so I took on the task of creating some wires and working with an agency to build out a new site.

Content Edit page

We needed to add some additional features to a page and spruce things up a bit. These were some mock-ups I made with a few different layout options. It needed to cover content information, data, ability to edit the content thumbnail, and newly added ability to add and edit audio tracks.

Creator Dashboard Analytics

We were noticing that new content creators were coming and going after only uploading or attempting to record a handful of times. I discussed with some of the content creators as well as did some research on other platforms and determined that adding analytics to give content creators more insight into how their content was doing would help to incentivize them to keep creating. This is the prototype I made for it.

Everything below this point will look stylistically different as we did a full redesign of the app.

Content Creator Studio

After the app redesign, we needed a quick MVP design for the studio and analytics. I kept this page to summary style analytics as I got feedback on the previous design that it was confusing to have summary and date-specific analytics on the same page. Full prototype is here.

Content Creator Tutorial

We noticed that creators were having some difficulty grasping certain ideas around recording content on our platform. The setup required is a bit different from traditional means of recording, so we put together a quick step-by-step guide to explain the concepts to them. Hi-fi prototype can be seen here.
